The Maritime Festival begins Saturday Sept 24th. Rabbi Gadi Capela will be doing the Blessing of the Fleets at 10:30am.

Sharing the honors will be Father Richard Hoerning. The Blessing of the Fleet is a tradition that began centuries ago in Mediterranean fishing communities. During this simple but relevant service, they will offer our prayers to the entire assembled oyster, clamming and fishing fleet, and their captains and crew for a safe and bountiful season.
