Rabbi Gadi will light a firepit in his backyard — a sign of celebration — on Monday, May 11, to celebrate the holiday of Lag B’Omer. Zoom in at 7:30 p.m. to watch the Rabbi light up the spirituality of the 33rd day of the counting of the Omer.

The holiday takes on special significance in this time of coronavirus because, according to Jewish tradition, the time between Passover and Lag B’Omer calls for social distancing — all celebrations and social gatherings forbidden. Lag B’Omer commemorates the end of the Jewish isolation. (Alas, our civic isolation will continue a bit longer.)

Come light up the holiday.
