The Lunch and Learn program is honored to announce that Elizabeth Holtzman will lead the session on Monday, June 8. Her topic: Recent Political Developments.

Elizabeth Holtzman served four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives from New York’s 16th Congressional District (1973-1980). At age 31, she was the youngest woman elected to Congress, a record she held for 42 years. She was also the first woman to serve as District Attorney of Kings County (1982-1989), and also the first woman to hold the office of New York City Comptroller (1990-1993). Ms. Holtzman is the author of three books, most recently her highly praised account of “The Case For Impeaching Trump.”

Elizabeth Holtzman graduated from Harvard Law School, and magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Radcliffe College. In addition to her law practice, she is a regular TV commentator.

On Thursday, June 11, Rabbi Gadi will continue the political discussion with a topic titled “Political Is Spiritual.”
