So, Madelyn Called Tom In A Panic…

“Omigosh, Tom, they’ve lost it. What’re we gonna do?”

“Whoa, hold on, Madelyn, who lost what?”

“The shul members. They’ve lost our email addresses. I’m sure of it, or we would have heard from them by now.”

“Hold your horses, Madelyn, everybody knows the Silent Auction is coming up soon, and probably they’re all still looking through stuff, searching for something really nice for the auction. Stop worrying.”

“Yeah, I’m sure you’re right, Tom. It’s just that I want this year’s Silent Auction to be the best ever — you know, really good quality items that people will want to bid on, to have in their homes, services they will want, day trips and vacations, like last year’s offerings that people are still talking about.”

“But look, Madelyn, all that great stuff is coming in. Just look at what we have already! No doubt about it, this year’s Silent Auction is gonna beat all the others — hands down terrific.”

“Oh, I’m sure you’re right, Tom. But let’s run our email addresses by the folks again, just to be sure they didn’t get, ya know, lost.”

“OK, Madelyn. I’ll ask Andrea to send a ShulCloud message with instructions to take a photo of the items, or write a description of the service, and email all that to us at madelyn765@aol.com or drtombyrne@me.com/.”

“Hey Tom, do you think people know the date and time? Let’s tell them again, just to be sure they know when the opening party and the bidding will start.”

Sunday, May 22, at 5 o’clock.
