Congregation Tifereth Israel in Greenport, NY is an egalitarian, inclusive, Conservative synagogue committed to strengthening Jewish values, learning and spiritual well being for all our members and friends.  Jewish history in Greenport dates to the late 1800s and our beautiful sanctuary was built in 1903 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.  Read More…

Menorah Lighting Ceremony will take place on Sunday December 25th at 5:00pm
Hanukkah blessings and songs will be lead by Rabbi Gadi Cappella of Temple Tifereth-Israel, together with the North Fork Reform Synagogue, in Mitchell Park. Latkes (potato pancakes) will be served along with other holiday fare at the temple to all participants following the ceremony and in celebration of the holiday of light. Everyone is welcomed!
