Monday, July 13: Professional Photographer Reveals Her Insights

Hello Lunch and Learners. Be sure to join us this Monday, July 13, when shul member Ellen Jaffe, a professional photographer, will reveal her insights in a program titled “Film to Photoshop, Tabloid to Tech: One Photographer’s Journey.”

A photographer for 45 years, Ellen has worked as a photojournalist, corporate shooter, and artist. She will talk about her work in the context of changing technology, including her Duratrans lightboxes commissioned by the MTA for Grand Central Terminal.

Taking good photos requires know-how. Ellen knows how.

Thursday, July 16: session canceled (rabbi was conducting a funeral).

Sign into Zoom at 12 o’clock every Monday and Thursday. Have lunch with shul friends, and learn a little, followed by a Q&A and some lively discussion. Download Zoom, visit www.tiferethisraelgreenport.org and click on “go to meeting,” Follow the prompts, and type in the code that you use for services. That’s all there is to it.

Why lunch alone? Come eat. Come learn. Zoom at noon for ‘Lunch and Learn.’
