Hello out there — yes you, sitting in your house. Have you cleaned out every closet and drawer, washed every knickknack, dusted every shelf? Maybe you’re wondering what else you can do to pass the time at home. Well, ponder no more. The answer is at hand.

Lunch and Learn. You are invited to Zoom at noon — to sign into Zoom at 12 o’clock every Monday and Thursday, have lunch with shul friends, learn a little, and then we’ll talk. One of our members or Rabbi Gadi or a guest will introduce a topic for maybe 10 minutes or so, followed by a Q&A and some lively discussion. We have a lot of talented people in our shul. Let’s share a shtikl breyt with some smartshtik.

Sign into Zoom this Monday, April 20, at noon, for the first session, to be led by Ron Rothman talking about his grandfather’s friendship with Albert Einstein. Then on Thursday, April 23, Rabbi Gadi will lead the discussion on an interesting facet of Judaism.

What’s ahead? Memoir writing with Sara Bloom on the 27th and Rabbi Gadi on the 30th. Other topics in the works include music, travel, books, art, poetry, politics, health, photography, maybe some Yiddish, and who knows what else…
