Hello, Lunch and Learners. Here’s a preview of what’s on tap for our Zoom at noon program next week. We hope you were able to Zoom at noon on Monday for a fun session with Adrianne Greenberg, who got us out of our chairs and moving. On Thursday, Rabbi Gadi picked up on the theme with a Biblical view of good health.

Coming up this Monday, June 22, is a session about art: Can you draw? Do you want to draw? Is it too late to learn to draw? Join Saul Rosenstreich as he addresses the topic “Can Anybody Learn to Draw — and Should They?” Dr. Rosenstreich pursued these questions after a 30-year career in medicine. He looks forward to a spirited Lunch and Learn discussion about an interest that has been an important part of his life, he said.

On Thursday, June 25, Rabbi Gadi will follow up on the art theme with a session titled “God, the Constant Artist.” As the Rabbi explained, “When we say ‘Amen,’ God is inviting us to be His co-creators, co-artists.”

Sign into Zoom at 12 o’clock every Monday and Thursday. Have lunch with shul friends, and learn a little, followed by a Q&A and some lively discussion. Visit www.tiferethisraelgreenport.org, click on “go to meeting,” follow the prompts, and type in the code (that you use for the synagogue events and services). That’s all there is to it.

Why lunch alone? Come eat, come listen, come talk. Don’t forget: Zoom at noon for Lunch and Learn. See you Monday.
