“Why is the auction’s closing party starting at 5:15? Why not 5 o’clock?

“Oh Tom, typical doctor, always more questions… The answer is simple. From 5 to 6 is too long. And from 5:30 to 6 is not long enough. Besides, people will remember 5:15 because they won’t be expecting it. 

“I suppose. Could start a whole new trend. How ‘bout Shabbat services at 7:18 p.m. and Saturday morning at 9:22?

“(Sigh…) Moving right along. Hey Tom, let’s belt out one more Lucy Van Pelt together.  Hello out there, everyone from Orient to Riverhead and all the ships at sea. It’s the Big Silent Auction Closing Party, Tonight at 5:15.
