On Nov. 8, 9 and 10, 1938, Nazi leaders
unleashed a series of pogroms against the
Jewish population in Germany.
This event is known as
Kristallnacht
(The Night of Broken Glass)
because of the shattered glass that
littered the streets
after the vandalism and destruction
of Jewish-owned businesses, synagogues and homes.

Please join us this Shabbat
Friday evening, Nov. 8, at 7:30
when we will acknowledge that
hate sanctions evil
when together, we will
remember the lessons of the Holocaust
and those who died and sacrificed
for Judaism,
and as a congregation, we will pray for peace.
