Bees on the North Fork: A Conversation with Two Horse Honey

Scott and Heidi will discuss the worldwide decline of bee colonies and what they are seeing here on the North Fork. Bee populations are threatened by pollution, heat, habitat loss, and other factors, with serious consequences for agriculture and our food supply.

Two Horse Honey’s hives are located among the farms, vineyards, and wildflower patches of the North Fork.

They carefully tend their colonies and harvest raw honey in small batches, lightly filtered and bottled straight from the hive.

 

Join us for an informative conversation about local beekeeping, colony collapse, and the essential role bees play in our environment.
