The September meeting of the Book Circle will take place on Wednesday, the 16th, at noon, on Zoom. The members have selected The Mandelbaum Gate by prolific Scottish writer Muriel Spark, who won the James Tate Memorial Prize for this novel.

As the narrative unfolds, a journey of faith to the Holy Land turns into an adventure of espionage when the Mandelbaum Gate into Jordan is crossed.

The Book Circle meets each month to explore books on Jewish themes and Jewish writers. For more information, call the shul at 631-477-0232 and leave a message for Susan Rosenstreich, coordinator of the group.
