Seth Golob brought the fun of PJ Library to our own Andrew Levin Park on Sunday morning, August 11, and kids, parents, grandkids and grandparents gobbled it up, along with bagels and cream cheese, hot and cold drinks, and an assortment of baked goods. Patience was rewarded on a pleasant Wednesday afternoon in August, when the ladies who wanted to do lunch with Chef Deborah Pittorino were able to find a convenient date to cash in on their Silent Auction winning bids. The Shofar announces with great joy the birth day of Amaya Liuba Rakhman on July 24, 2023, to Joshua and Antonia Rakhman. Amaya joins her sister Ava, who received her Hebrew name, Chava, in our shul on Oct. 16, 2022. Josh is our shul’s High Holidays guard, who greets all of us on our way to services. Mazel tov to the Rakhman family.

Shul Plans New Shabbat Summer Program Our shul will host a new summer program called “Joyfully Jewish,” for children ages 5 to 10, to be held on four Shabbat mornings, from 9:30 to noon. The dates are July 8, July 22, August 5, and August 19.
